Astronomy and astrophotography connect me to the universe. When I stand beneath a dark sky, the concerns of daily life fall away. Stargazing and photographing the night sky become a form of meditation—an opportunity to slow down, pay attention, and feel the scale of something far greater than myself. The vastness of the universe is humbling; more importantly, the sky has no borders. It belongs to all of us and has the power to connect people across the world.
From the dunes of the Sahara to the high deserts of the American Southwest, I chase the dark—trading city lights for open skies in search of the universe overhead.
